An Evening Celebrating

Milestones reached for Leukemia Research

Background: The Philadelphia Eagles and Mc Donalds teamed up with Dr. Audrey Evans and Jimmy Murray to create the world's first Ronald McDonald House in 1974.   Every team in the NFL followed and created houses in their home cities and the Houses have now spread throughout the world. There are 366 Ronald Mc Donald Houses worldwide in 42 Countries. The Houses combined have 7200 bedrooms and have saved families in lieu of 700 Million dollars in hotel costs.

The partnership of Jimmy Murray, Leonard Tose and their team-including legendary coach Dick Vermeil, built the first Ronald McDonald House-and sparked an idea that keeps growing and brings honor to the NFL, Ronald McDonald Houses and all who have their hearts, money and time to help children and their families in times of dire need.

Details to be announced shortly.
